My wife has been a fan of Chalene’s since original Turbo Jam and they’re the only programs she’s ever stuck to. We did Turbo Jam, TJ Live, Chalene Extreme (which I really enjoy), but she really enjoyed Turbo Fire and I have to say, at the age of 38, she’s looking better than I can remember in 13 years.
She’s dropped over 20 pounds after her second pregnancy and is below 140 lbs for the first time in years–and getting a shape that I can’t remember her ever having, even in her mid-twenties. She’s fitting into clothes that she gave up on several years ago, and getting flattering comments every week by people who haven’t seen her in a while.
When we first met, exercise to my wife equated to a walk around the block. So her doing this, is nothing short of a major transformation. Credit goes to Chalene and Product Partners/Beachbody for creating a product that keeps people engaged and moving forward.
This is a tough, demanding program and isn’t for wussies. But, I’m impressed with my wife’s results and having done a few of the workouts myself, I will attest without reservation that they do what they say they do.  I’m shopping online to find the follow-up videos to the collection as that’s what my woman wants. And if she continues looking this good and better… she’s gonna get them.
Oh, and I really enjoy the plan you included which outlined a hybrid of TurboFire and Chalene Extreme (CE), and I am really looking forward to beginning that in January. Doing CE pesonally got me looking better than I ever have—even when I was a 20-something marathoner fifteen years go. My pants which were previously tight were falling off of me after two weeks. I was astonished. My brother and a couple friends jokingly said, “What are you, trying to get back to birth weight?”
They were impressed, and probably a bit envious.

TurboFire is an amazingly fun workout system that really works! I had done Turbo Jam in the past and got great results, but became too advanced for the program. This program is very similar but much more challenging and extensive. I was never bored and really looked forward to seeing Chalene’s smiling face every day. I really like that she includes modifications for all of the movements so that anyone could do it.

I am a fitness professional and have always been in pretty good shape but needed to lose a little weight and find something that was challenging enough to get over a plateau. This was the program. I made it through the full 20 weeks and dropped 10lbs and 10inches from my already pretty fit body! I loved it so much I am now doing the hybrid program that combines TurboFire with Chalene’s other workout system ChaLean Extreme. One month in and loving it as well! Thanks Chalene!

Technically this is not a review, but a suggestion. I would like to be able to purchase workout dvds individually. For example, I only use the long (55 mins.) cardio workout (“cardio party mix 3″). I bought the turbo jam intro package, and was able to buy the “cardio party mix 3″, individually, but I can’t find turbo extreme (?) or turbo fire 55 min./60 min. cardio workouts sold individually. I love Chalene’s workouts, but I can’t buy a whole package every time I want a new routine.

I have to say I am appauled at the negative feedback from One More Mom stating that its awful coreography and sloppy. I am a former dancer and this is by far sloppy! Somebody obviously could not catch on to the moves or didnt even give this program a shot. I purchased this program back in the summer and within a month dopped 7 pounds..then school started and things got hectic so I started this again Thanksgiving day and I can already see my midsection definition. Ive been eating fairly clean and our family still does our pizza night on Fridays :) This program is truly my drug! After a workout I feel amazing and so fit. The music, the energy, the vibes of all of the class participants really pushes me to the max! Nothing else out there can even compare to this program and I really hope there will be a sequel to this! This program is on FIRE!

Lots of fun, motivating

I am recovering from a Stem Cell Transplant, so I am in week three of the prep course. The prep course is great for someone who has been sick, weak or just plain out of shape. Chalean is really motivating, and I find myself working really hard to get strong. Its lots of fun and great that I can watch Alee for all the modifications. I can always feel the workouts, but I was only super sore the first three days, and I basically started from scratch! I was only dissappointed that some routines on various cd’s were the same. I guess I thought there would be two stretch forty’s and such. Overall, this has been a great replacement since I don’t have access to a workout facility. I’m thinking about getting an office chair mat so that I can pivot for some of the moves. Trying to do some of the moves on carpet is hard. But overall, I’m super motivated by this to work out every day!
